Webinar Description

Increase productive participation in your classroom.  Learn how to teach the participation behaviors you want as an educator and that adult (and adolescent) students need to actively engage in classroom learning.   In this workshop, you will learn how to manage adult behavior and teach adult learners how to self-regulate, participate and learn more effectively.  These strategies will increase productive participation, help you manage behavioral challenges, and help discreetly focus learners and redirect off-task adult learner behaviors without compromising relationships, interrupting instruction, or drawing unnecessary attention to struggling learners.

Workshop participant will be able to…
Describe the Laws of Social Learning and Social Proof.
Explain why each law is critical to understanding how to compassionately teach vulnerable learners.
Describe how to use the MORE! Model and multi-sensory and social learning cues to direct focus and re-engage learner attention.
Evaluate research and rationale for using the strategies with vulnerable learners.
Describe the benefit and application of using the strategies as a tool for teaching  vulnerable learners.
Get ready for an interactive and engaging learning experience!  No talking heads! No boring video lectures! Our workshops are immersive multi-sensory experiences. Prepare to use your keyboard and mouse, as well as your voice, browser, pen, phone, and sense of humor.
